Promoting Gender Equality through making Reusable Menstrual Pads (RUMPS)

Through providing training on making reusable menstrual pads (RUMPS), AIDS Education Group for Youth (AEGY), in Kamuli, Uganda, are helping to promote gender equality and access to education for girls. Through support from the Mennonite Central Committee, AEGY is working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Uganda. This video is part of a series on the Sustainable Development Goals, produced as part of ACGC's 'Alberta Notebook for the Global Goals' initiative. The footage was taken by five Alberta youth visiting Uganda as part of the Change Your World Youth Leadership Program. Hosted by MCC Alberta, visited MCC partner organizations in Uganda to learn about sustainable development.
